I’ve placed a guided Lenten meditation on the main church website. I hope you may find it useful. Here’s how I came up with it. Some scholars think that the self-denial practices commonly associated with Lent originally arose in agricultural economies. There was a time in late spring when the winter stores were running low, and the new crops were still weeks away. It was a naturally lean period. In such a situation we would be made ever more aware of just how dependent we are, dependent on the seasons, the crops and one another. So, this Lenten meditation is a meditation on our deep interconnectedness. I hope you enjoy it. Link
